The Harokopio University data network access service via a virtual private network (VPN) enables users outside the university network to gain secure access to the institution's network and its services as they are identified (based on the network IP address of their computer) as members of the university network.
Specifically, the service enables users to have the same access rights to services/data as they have when they connect to the network through the University's facilities, e.g. access to the library's electronic resources (e.g. HEAL-Link).
All active members of Harokopio University (teaching staff, researchers, undergraduate/postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, and administrative employees) have the right to use the VPN service.
